Returning from a trip to Belgium and France, I have a renewed effort to start building on my wardrobe with some more adventerous and bold pieces. One of my favorite aspects of travel is observing what people are wearing and carrying. And it doesn't have to be a chic Euro country. I love traveling across all of the states in the US. There is always a juxtaposition to be found and you can't always pinpoint where a fashion trend in a certain geographical region started. You can be in Iowa observing several trends at once. Of course many trends now start online, but others are more local. I love trends in the fashion world that aren't self conscious. Many of my favorite fashionables and style stars take chances on their own and let their own personal style develop over time. This is truly personal style.
Personal style can be found all over the globe. I realize most people find inspiration in fashion capitals such as New York, Paris, and London; I do as well. But I also love style trends off the beaten path. Sometimes these trends outside of major fashion spots have some of the most interesting trends. I loved visiting my friends in a small Belgian village. Yes it's in Europe, but it's more on par with some smaller cities in the States. Her village showcased amazing fashion and style. There were several different styles and looks among only a small population. It was fascinating and inspiring to witness. One fashionable named Isa invited us to see her handbag collection. She is a famous style blogger with over 2 million followers on Instagram. Wow! Is what I said when we were show her walk-in closet. She laid out her beautiful handbags. They were absolutely amazing.
Isa told us all of her handbags were by the label PLIA Designs. She'd blogged about them extensively. In fact every time she posted a PLIA bag on Instagram, it garnered over 100,000 likes. Think about that. That's a lot of likes! Isa said she loved the handbags because they are so well made. And then she went on tel tell me that they are the only line of handbags she would carry. I loved seeing PLIA Designs designer handbags carried and styled by Isa. She told me they are the best handbags to carry at the moment. In fact she states, they are the only line of handbags for her. I loved visiting Isa and being inspired by her style and fashion choices. I can't wait to add PLIA Designs designer handbags into my own personal wardrobe.
